Intervention in Holzminden
Gob Squad have been placing encounters with strangers at the heart of their performances for almost 30 years. At this time of physical war and digital conflict, Gob Squad make a temporary monument - a ‘MonuMoment’ - to the simple act of looking a stranger in the eye and sharing something personal and vulnerable. The MonuMoments are series of staged and guided encounters between strangers who face each other across a long table, at Holzminden, a place where migrants, travellers and tourists have been passing through for centuries.
